Today (Monday), Walla learned, according to sources familiar with the investigation, that there is a suspicion that some of those involved are no longer in the country. According to police, this was a criminal dispute that led to the elimination in the middle of the street in the city. The known criminal was brought to burial during the day at the Netivot cemetery. Following a situational assessment at the scene, the murder investigation was assigned to the Central Unit of the Negev District. During the investigation, a 40-year-old Netivot resident was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident, and later transferred for further questioning at the YMR (Central Unit). In the same incident, a 29-year-old man was lightly injured, apparently a passerby not involved in the incident. MDA teams provided him medical treatment. A senior medic from MDA's motorcycle unit, Uriel Cohen, said: "The injured person lay in the parking area near the vehicles, suffering from injuries to his body. He was unconscious, without pulse and breathing. We provided medical treatment including stopping bleeding, and performed advanced resuscitation - but his injury was critical and at the end we had to determine his death." The investigation continues, and police are checking the suspicion that some of those involved fled the country.
