In contrast, Barak Seri claimed that in the Likud there is growing fear of disappointment from the slots and damage to the ballot box, and quoted party sources fearing a blow in the elections.
Eli Ohana, a Likud figure, defended Eyal Berkovich, a sports commentator, in an interview on 103FM after Berkovich faced criticism for his role as a media mouthpiece. Ohana compared Berkovich to journalists from the other political side, including Yair Lapid, Shelly Yachimovich, Merav Michaeli, Miki Rosenthal, and Daniel Ben Simon, and claimed that no similar criticism was heard against them. Ohana also supported Netanyahu's slots in the Likud, calling them "excellent," and encouraged Benny Gantz to run, saying he would have slotted him in second place in the Likud. In contrast, Barak Seri presented an opposite picture: according to him, conversations with Likud sources reveal real concern about the election results. Seri claimed that Netanyahu promised eight significant slots but failed to recruit figures like Yossi Cohen, Ruvik Danilovich, and Moshe Kahlon. According to him, there is disappointment with the chosen slots, except for Talik Gavili and Elisha Midan, and harsh criticism is heard against Haim Katz. Seri warned that many will not come to vote because of this, and quoted Netanyahu himself who once said, "With such a list you don't win."
