Eisenkot's party presents '12 steps to support new immigrants'

The Yashar party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, has unveiled a program to support new immigrants, including improving conditions for lone soldiers, expediting housing for elderly immigrants, allowing transfer of savings to Israeli banks, and integrating children into schools. The program was presented by Alex Rif at a meeting in Tel Aviv.

On August 16, the Yashar party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, presented a program to support new immigrants, which it plans to implement if it wins the elections. Key provisions include improving the situation of lone soldiers who are new immigrants, expediting the queue of elderly immigrants for social housing, allowing new immigrants to transfer their savings to Israeli banks, and efforts to integrate children of new immigrants into Israeli schools. The program was presented at a meeting in Tel Aviv by Alex Rif, a candidate on the party's electoral list. Eisenkot, in his speech, reminded that he himself comes from a family of immigrants from Morocco.
