Eisenkot Leads, Likud Close Behind, Smotrich Weakens - and What About Bennett? | Maariv Poll

A Maariv poll published today (Friday) shows a status quo at the top: Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot leads with 23 seats, Likud is second with 22, Bennett 15, Lieberman 10, Golan 9. Otzma Yehudit rose to 8 at the expense of Religious Zionism, which fell to 4. 55% oppose integrating Ra'am into the coalition, 54% oppose the roadmap in Gaza. Bennett and Eisenkot lead Netanyahu in suitability for prime minister.

A Maariv poll published today (Friday) indicates a status quo at the top of the political ladder. Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot continues to lead the seat count for the third consecutive week with 23 seats, unchanged from the previous poll. Likud, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, follows closely with 22 seats, also unchanged. The 'Together' party, led by Naftali Bennett, stands at 15 seats, 'Yisrael Beiteinu' under Avigdor Lieberman at 10, and 'The Democrats' under Yair Golan at 9 - all unchanged. The only change: 'Otzma Yehudit' under Itamar Ben Gvir rose to 8 seats, gaining one seat at the expense of 'Religious Zionism' under Bezalel Smotrich, which fell to 4. The bloc balance remains unchanged: the coalition stays at 49 seats against 57 for the Zionist opposition, which could reach a majority with the four seats of 'Zionist-Back Home' under Yoaz Hendel. The Arab parties remain at 10 seats. Regarding the integration of Ra'am into a future coalition, 55% of Israelis oppose, 20% support, and 25% have no opinion. Among coalition supporters, opposition is resolute - 84%. Zionist opposition voters are divided: 36% support versus 35% oppose. Arab party voters mostly support - 62%. Regarding the roadmap for an arrangement in Gaza, 54% oppose, 24% support, and 22% have no opinion. Among coalition voters, opposition is higher - 72%. The only group that mostly supports is Arab party voters - 58%. On the question of suitability for prime minister, Bennett leads Netanyahu 43% to 40%, and Eisenkot leads 47% to 38%, both unchanged from the previous poll. Against Lieberman, Netanyahu leads 42% to 38%.
