Eisenkot holds steady atop seat count, Likud strengthens, Bennett weakens | Ma'ariv poll

A Ma'ariv poll published this morning (31.7.2026) shows: Eisenkot's Yashar leads with 23 seats, Likud strengthens to 21, Bennett and Lapid's Together drops to 15. Netanyahu's coalition stands at 49, the Zionist opposition bloc at 57. Eisenkot leads Netanyahu in suitability for prime minister, 48% to 38%.

A Ma'ariv poll published this morning (Friday) indicates stability at the top of the seat count: the Yashar party led by Gadi Eisenkot continues to lead with 23 seats, the second consecutive week. Likud strengthens by two seats to 21, at the expense of Otzma Yehudit and Shas, which drop from 8 to 7 seats each. The Together party of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid crashes to 15 seats, a drop of two and the lowest since the union. The Democrats led by Yair Golan drop to 9, Yisrael Beiteinu holds at 10, Hadash-Ta'al, Religious Zionism, and Ra'am at 5 each. The party of Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel passes the electoral threshold with 4 seats, while Balad and Blue and White remain below. In total, Netanyahu's coalition has 49 seats, the Zionist opposition bloc 57, and the Arab parties 10. On the question of suitability for prime minister, Eisenkot leads with 48% versus 38% for Netanyahu, the largest gap recorded. Bennett beats Netanyahu by a 5% margin. Another poll examines a new party led by Gantz, Shaked, Edelstein, and Simchai, which would receive 3.8% (4 seats) and push Tropper and Hendel below the electoral threshold.
