Eisenkot stated that this is a 'serious manifestation of weakness of a failed government' and the result of 'irresponsible policy.' He accused the government of acting helplessly and irresponsibly, dismissing the commander of the IDF Central Command on television, halting administrative detentions, and failing to support commanders. According to him, the government is deliberately creating chaos and leaving IDF commanders alone in the fight against anarchy and violent lawbreaking by an extremist minority.
