Manor's family contacted the party and made clear that his works should not be used for political purposes, and the campaign was shelved and deleted from all platforms. The Democrats stated that they respect the family and acted for immediate removal. The campaign had been successful among the left bloc, with lawmakers like Naama Lazimi, Efrat Rayten, Gilad Kariv, and Moshe Radman posting similar images and texts. Lazimi wrote about values, the silence imposed on them, and what she describes as a coup and the entry of Kahanists into the government. Radman wrote about an attempt to dismantle democracy and looting the treasury. The campaign was removed after the family's request.
