According to Reuters, Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command Admiral Brad Cooper warned personnel that photos and videos posted on social media could provide valuable information to the enemy. He said such posts allow analysis of attack consequences almost in real time and could endanger the lives of US military and civilian personnel in Gulf countries. Sources told the agency that some US troops stationed in Jordan have already been ordered to hand over their mobile phones. Similar measures may later be extended to other US units in the region.
