Minister Dudi Amsalem (Likud) said in an interview with 103FM that Gadi Eisenkot is the 'natural place' in Likud, and expressed willingness to help him join if he adopts the party's principles. He defended the court's decision to prevent MKs and ministers from running in district primaries, and described Netanyahu as the 'most experienced captain' in times of existential danger.
Minister for Regional Cooperation, Dudi Amsalem from Likud, said this morning in an interview with 103FM that Gadi Eisenkot, the candidate threatening Likud in the elections, is the party's 'natural place', and he would be happy if he joined. Amsalem added that if Eisenkot adopts Likud's principles and 'wakes up from the illusions regarding the Arabs', he would help him join. He defended the Likud court's decision not to allow MKs and ministers to run in district primaries, calling it a 'fair decision' that grows new leadership. Amsalem praised Netanyahu as the 'most experienced captain' and 'the ultimate man of the people of Israel' in times of existential danger, and claimed that even a leftist would vote for him. He emphasized that Likud is a popular movement with 150,000 members, which does not belong to any person, including the Prime Minister.
