Drones, Israel and Ukraine – Serbia reveals details of new project

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced the opening of a drone manufacturing plant with Israeli partners. The plant will start operating in mid-September. Vučić noted Ukraine's experience in drone technology and plans to invite Ukrainian representatives to the opening ceremony.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the opening of a defense enterprise for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with the participation of Israeli partners. According to Vučić, the plant will start operating in mid-September, approximately from September 15 to 20. The Serbian leader noted Ukraine's successes in the field of drone technology, emphasizing its experience and developed production base, and expressed his intention to invite Ukrainian representatives to the project's launch ceremony. This statement came amid the ongoing conflict in the region and may indicate an expansion of military-technical cooperation between Serbia, Israel, and Ukraine. Earlier, the publication reported a drone strike on a US airbase in Kuwait, highlighting the relevance of drone technology.
