The tumor was attached to the superior mesenteric vein, requiring removal of part of the vein and its reconstruction. The surgery was supervised by Dr. Nasser Radwan, consultant and head of surgery departments, and Dr. Amjad Abu Al-Qumbaz, head of the general surgery department. Dr. Muhammad Abu Salmiya, general director of the complex, confirmed that this achievement reflects the ability of Palestinian medical staff to perform precise interventions despite border closures and difficulty in transferring patients abroad. The patient left the hospital in stable health condition.
