According to him, non-biological parents are blocked from updating their children's address online and are forced to appear in person at offices. He demands to cancel the distinction and equalize the service. The Authority stated that it operates to provide equal service and handles specific difficulties.

MK Yorai Lahav Hertzanu (Yesh Atid) has turned to the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Israel Ozen, claiming that the Population and Immigration Authority discriminates against LGBTQ+ parents in its digital services. According to the appeal, parents who are not the biological parent, even though they are legally registered as parents, encounter a block when trying to update their children's address online, and are forced to appear in person at offices. Lahav Hertzanu, who claims to have encountered the problem himself, demands to cancel the distinction between a biological parent and a non-biological parent, and to equalize the service for all parents. He notes that this is not the first time he has turned to the ministry on the matter. In response, the Population Authority stated that it operates to provide equal and full service to all citizens, and that specific technical difficulties are handled with the national digital system.
