The evidence may change the suspicions against the five young men from Petah Tikva, who until now were suspected only of causing injuries, and escalate them to charges of responsibility for his death. The detention of all suspects has been extended until Monday. Next week will mark 30 days since the arrest of Peretz and Barbierman, meaning that to request a further extension of detention, the police will need to obtain an exceptional approval from the Attorney General.
