Despite ceasefire, Israeli shelling, demolition, and gunfire in Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation forces continue their shelling and gunfire across the Gaza Strip, in continued violation of the ceasefire agreement signed in Cairo on October 10, 2025. The shelling included areas in Beit Lahia, al-Zaytoun neighborhood, Bureij camp, and Khan Younis, with gunfire directed at tents of displaced people in Mawasi Khan Younis. In the south, Israeli tanks fired intensely east of Khan Younis, while an Israeli tank advanced on al-Tina street south of the city. This coincided with direct gunfire at tents of displaced people in the al-Iqlimi and Bir 19 areas of Mawasi Khan Younis. Yesterday, medical sources announced the martyrdom of citizen Muhannad Saada and injuries to others from an Israeli strike in Beit Lahia town, north of the Gaza Strip, alongside continued occupation shelling and gunfire on various areas of the Strip, in a continuous breach of the ceasefire agreement. The occupation forces commit violations in the Gaza Strip, contrary to US President Donald Trump's announcement on July 31, 2026, about reaching a "new agreement" to commence the second phase of the "roadmap."
