A police source told N12 that recently there has been an increase in threats against public figures, and that many actions are being taken in cyber departments to thwart the perpetrators and bring them in for questioning. The source emphasized: "We operate 24/7 to ensure the safety of public figures and act firmly against those who try to intimidate them online and in general."
