At least eight people were killed in a massive Russian attack on Ukraine involving dozens of missiles and hundreds of drones. The attack targeted Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava. The deadliest incident occurred in the town of Radushna, where a ballistic missile struck a family home with many children – the parents and three of their children were killed, two were rescued alive. Zelenskyy reported that Russia launched over 70 missiles and 280 drones, and called for accelerating the supply of air defense systems. In Poland, an unidentified object entered its airspace, fighter jets were scrambled, and a crater was later found in an uninhabited area. Prime Minister Donald Tusk said it appeared to be a Russian missile. Russia reported striking military facilities and three cargo ships, and intercepted 258 drones.
