Graham, appointed to hold the Senate seat until January following the death of her brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham, last month, now faces Democrat Annie Andrews in the November general election for a full six-year term. The win is also a victory for US President Donald Trump, who recruited Graham and endorsed her. Trump was quoted by CNN saying at a Friday rally in Myrtle Beach, "She only knows how to put America first. You vote for her, you're going to be very proud of that vote."
