Muhammad Dahlan, a former senior Fatah official, wrote on social media platform X that after Hamas and Palestinian factions approved a 15-point document on implementing the second phase of the American plan for the Gaza Strip, the success of the agreement depends on Israel's full commitment to ceasing attacks, killings, and liquidations in the Gaza Strip. According to Dahlan, who currently holds no official position in the Palestinian Authority, Jared Kushner promised that he had reached an understanding with the Israeli side to halt attacks starting the morning of August 2. Dahlan called on factions to adhere to the agreement, cease armed demonstrations, and avoid marches that could provide Israel with a pretext for attacks.
