Israeli cybersecurity company Cyera has announced the signing of a letter of intent to acquire Oasis Security for $1 billion. Oasis develops solutions for managing and securing non-human identities and AI agents. On completion, Oasis will become an independent unit within Cyera, continuing to operate in its field. The move expands Cyera's platform by combining data security with identity management and access permissions. Cyera cofounder and CEO Yotam Segev stated that the AI era changes how organizations protect information, and the connection with Oasis unites data protection and access understanding in one platform. Oasis CEO Danny Brickman noted that non-human identities are a key security challenge of the AI era. The deal was first reported by Globes earlier this month. Cyera recently completed a $600 million fundraising at a $12 billion valuation.
