Settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, continue to besiege three Palestinian homes in the Ras al-Ain area of Qusra, south of Nablus, for the twelfth consecutive day. The settlers prevent the besieged families from entering or leaving their homes, while occupation forces have declared the area a closed military zone, amid efforts to seize the homes and impose a fait accompli. The families face a severe water shortage due to settlers preventing water delivery to the homes, along with the closure of access roads. These attacks come amid an escalation of settler attacks in various parts of the West Bank, as part of attempts to displace Palestinians from their homes and lands and seize them for settlement expansion. The settler attacks are carried out under the protection of occupation forces, which continue their own attacks against Palestinians and their property, as part of a policy aimed at pressuring citizens and driving them to leave their lands.
