The International Jerusalem Foundation launched its twentieth annual report "Eye on Al-Aqsa" in Istanbul, coinciding with the 57th anniversary of the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The report warned of three main dangers: the possibility of imposing a spatial division inside the mosque through control of its eastern courtyards, the possibility of a major assault amid rising incitement, and the risk of undermining the historical status quo and abolishing the role of the Islamic Waqf Department. The report documented an increase in incursions, with the number of Jewish intruders reaching about 35,107, and 13 incursions by Israeli officials, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir with five incursions. It also recorded 823 expulsion orders, an increase of 181% over the previous report. The foundation announced the opening of an office in Turkey.
