The father of a 1-year-and-10-month-old toddler, who was found to have cocaine residues in his blood after being hospitalized at Laniado Hospital in Netanya, is changing his story during the investigation. The father, a resident of Even Yehuda in his 30s, now claims that his son swallowed Adderall pills that were kept at home with a prescription, and that he tried to make him vomit. This comes after yesterday the affair was revealed, in which the toddler was hospitalized after feeling unwell. The court ruled that at this stage there is no evidence that the drug was administered to the toddler intentionally, and ordered the father's release to house arrest and his distancing from his son. The release was stayed pending an appeal filed by the police. The toddler's mother, who brought him to the hospital, implicated the father in her investigation and told investigators that he uses drugs. The father was arrested on suspicion of drug use, supplying a drug to a minor, and neglect of a helpless person.
