"Campaign of revenge": Sarah Netanyahu's legal battle

Sarah Netanyahu, the wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, filed a lawsuit on Thursday against Yechiel Ohev Ami, a former operations assistant at the Prime Minister's Residence. The lawsuit comes about a week after Ohev Ami sued her, alleging workplace abuse during his employment. The statement of claim, filed through attorney Uriel Hor Nizri, alleges that Ohev Ami began illegally photographing inside the residence from his first days on the job, violating a confidentiality agreement. It further claims he conducted a "blatant intrusion into Netanyahu's private and intimate sphere of life," took photos in a secure facility, and used the information for "harassment and extortion." The suit also alleges that after his dismissal and rejected return request, Ohev Ami embarked on a "campaign of revenge," planned in advance and carried out with a Channel 12 News journalist. It describes his allegations as "absolute and malicious lies" and "a web of lies and fabrications" intended for "media and financial extortion." In his own lawsuit filed last week, Ohev Ami claimed he performed his duties with dedication and professionalism but was subjected to severe workplace abuse by Sarah Netanyahu, backed by supervisors, and dismissed without legitimate cause after falling out of favor.
