Separate criticism is directed at the Democratic Party: not enough has been done to counter attempts to strip the Democrats of their status as a potential partner in a future coalition. Sources also direct grievances directly at Eisenkot's struggle for the premiership, believing that whoever seeks to lead the camp must take broader responsibility for joint work. Bloc representatives are also unhappy with constant pressure over why leaders of other parties have not yet declared support for Eisenkot. Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, Avigdor Liberman, holds a different position: he rejected the claim that one of the leaders should already be leading the rest, and believes that focusing on a candidate plays into Netanyahu's hands.
