Her uncle Nidal Abu Khater recounts that the family resides in an area classified as 'humanitarian' and poses no threat to the occupation forces, questioning the guilt of the child who had memorized three parts of the Holy Quran and was continuing to memorize the fourth. Her grandmother Samira Abu Libdeh describes the final moments where Amal was eating and playing with her uncle before the sound of the bullet turned into death.
