Brawl Season: Eilat Hotel Manager Rebuked for Cigarette and Attacked, Brawl Erupts Over a Chair
A series of brawls in Eilat and Holon: a Jerusalem resident was arrested after attacking a hotel manager who rebuked him for smoking; four suspects were arrested in a brawl at the G Hotel where a young man's teeth were broken; three were arrested at the King Solomon Hotel. Another brawl broke out at the Yamit 2000 water park, and the mayor of Holon restricted entry of outside residents on weekends.
A day after a mass brawl at the Yamit 2000 water park in Holon, another violent incident occurred there, in which two women exchanged blows. Meanwhile, several brawls broke out in Eilat hotels: a Jerusalem resident, Robin Gaber (29), was arrested after attacking a hotel manager who rebuked him for smoking in the pool area, and told police he would return to kill the entire hotel. Four suspects from Ashkelon were arrested on suspicion of involvement in a brawl at the G Hotel, in which a young man's front teeth were broken following an argument over a plastic chair. Three suspects from Be'er Sheva and Moshav Ahisamakh were arrested after attacking the partner of a guest at the King Solomon Hotel, after mocking and ridiculing his wife. On Saturday, two security guards were injured in a brawl at Yamit 2000, and 12 suspects were arrested. Holon Mayor Shai Keinan announced the prevention of entry of non-Holon residents to the park on weekends and holidays.
