The body of a man in his 50s was discovered overnight (between Tuesday and Wednesday) on Negev Street in Tel Aviv. Police ruled out criminal involvement. ZAKA volunteers who were called to the scene worked for many hours to treat the deceased with dignity and assisted police and forensic identification units in collecting evidence at the scene. David Bloi, a ZAKA night duty officer, and Israel Yaffe, a ZAKA volunteer, reported that it was a "difficult and bloody scene." After the operation, in the early morning, the findings were transferred for burial and the body was transferred for further examination at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine.
