The body of the foreign worker who had been missing since last night at Hofit Beach in Ashkelon was found today (Sunday) at Bar Kokhba Beach. The worker is of Russian origin and allegedly entered the sea while intoxicated. His friend, who tried to rescue him, lost contact. Police, maritime patrol, rescue units, and emergency teams conducted extensive searches throughout the night. The body was identified by authorized officials and will be transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident. The incident occurred in the same beach area where child Yuval Kogan went missing last weekend, later found safe and sound.
