The average benefit amount has increased by 2.64% since the beginning of the year due to indexation, reaching about 5,280 shekels.

On this day, old-age pensions, benefits for relatives of deceased recipients, disability benefits, child disability benefits, special payments for people with severe disabilities, mobility allowances, work injury benefits, alimony, rehabilitation payments, care allowances, as well as payments to Zion prisoners and victims of hostile actions will be transferred. Earlier in August, unemployment and income support benefit recipients (August 12) and child allowances (August 20) had already received their payments. Since the beginning of 2026, the average amount of state benefits has increased by up to 2.64% due to indexation linked to the rise in the consumer price index. After the latest increase, the average amount of all types of benefits combined is about 5,280 shekels.
