Chairman of the 'Together' party, Naftali Bennett, said this evening (Saturday) in an interview with 'Meet the Press' on Channel 12 that his party will be in the next government, and he hopes to lead it. However, he sounded resigned to the fact that Gadi Eisenkot will lead the change bloc. Bennett defended the political union with Yair Lapid, saying that a government should reflect a variety of political voices, from right and left, with the common denominator being the desire to 'fix.' He attacked the leaders of the Haredi public, Aryeh Deri and Yitzhak Gafni, saying that those who expect that presenting the 'gravity of the hour' will lead to agreement on conscription are mistaken. Bennett claimed that Qatar is even more dangerous than Iran, due to its covert activities. He refused to assess the President of the Supreme Court, Yitzhak Amit, saying that he is under a government that does not know how to function. Bennett did not rule out cooperation with Arabs, mentioning Yosef Haddad as an example, but conditioned participation in the government on it being a 'Zionist government.' He avoided committing to whether he would rule out a coalition with Ra'am of Mansour Abbas. Regarding sensitive portfolios, he said they should be in the center, not at the edges.
