Ben Gvir: 'Donald Trump is naive'
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called Iran a 'Nazi regime' at the National Security Conference, and claimed that US President Donald Trump is naive in his pursuit of an agreement. He also said he has verified information that Marwan Barghouti asked the Arab parties to unite.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir spoke at the National Security Conference of ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth in collaboration with the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), and defined Iran as a 'Nazi regime'. He attacked US President Donald Trump, calling him 'naive' on the Iranian issue, while calling for talking to Iran 'through the crosshairs' rather than through diplomacy. Ben Gvir also claimed to have 'verified information' that Marwan Barghouti asked the Arab parties to unite, saying 'they want to return to the days of chocolate'. In addition, he criticized Naftali Bennett, who he said caused 'the biggest hasbara attack in the world' by legitimizing a Muslim Brotherhood party. Ben Gvir also criticized Benjamin Netanyahu, but stated that Bennett is primarily responsible for legitimizing the Arab parties.
