Ben Caspit: We should thank Miri Regev

Journalist Ben Caspit mocked Transportation Minister Miri Regev for being on vacation in Morocco during the chaos at Ben-Gurion Airport caused by a staff strike. Caspit ironically called for thanking Regev for her absence. The publication also revealed that the strike was originally planned a day earlier to disrupt Regev's flight, but was canceled due to the presence of Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Amid a major crisis at Ben-Gurion Airport caused by a staff strike that led to flight delays and cancellations, journalist Ben Caspit sharply criticized Transportation Minister Miri Regev. Caspit posted a story sarcastically commenting on her absence from Israel: "Every Israeli citizen should go to the synagogue and thank Miri Regev. We are fortunate to have her. Residents of Marrakech, you are lucky." Caspit is known for his harsh criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his political camp. A Channel 12 report revealed that the strike, announced by workers' committee head Pinchas Idan, was originally planned a day earlier to disrupt Regev's flight to Rabat. However, Idan canceled it after Regev and Netanyahu arrived at the airport together, deeming it "too much" to embarrass Netanyahu.
