Israeli police are investigating a suspected romance fraud in which a woman in her 20s posed as a man named 'Oreal Hazon' and conducted romantic and sexual relationships with several women. The women believed they were in contact with a man, but in reality, the communication was with the suspect. Police today (Wednesday) published the alias used by the suspect, in order to locate additional victims who have not yet come forward. The investigation is being conducted at the Petah Tikva station, and so far, several complaints have been received and findings have been collected. The court has banned publishing the suspect's name or identifying details, but allowed publishing the fictitious identity. Police are calling on women who had contact with a person by this name under similar circumstances, or anyone with information, to contact the police station or the 100 hotline. The investigation is ongoing.
