Baruch Marzel on Ben Gvir: "We protested together against the abomination parade - and he supports Ohana"

Right-wing activist Baruch Marzel, associated with the Kahanist stream, attacked in a post on X the minister Itamar Ben Gvir for his call to support Amir Ohana in the Likud primaries. Marzel quoted a video in which Ben Gvir calls Ohana a "dear friend," and reminded that the two organized together protests against the Pride parades. He added that Ben Gvir's support for cooperation with Ra'am and the Islamic Movement shows how he has strayed from the path.

Veteran right-wing activist Baruch Marzel, associated with the Kahanist stream, published today (Tuesday) a post on X in which he criticized Minister Itamar Ben Gvir. The reason: Ben Gvir's call to support Amir Ohana ahead of the Likud primaries held last night. In the post, Marzel shared a video in which Ben Gvir encourages Likud members to vote for the Knesset speaker, calling him "a friend and a dear one who brings pride to the people of Israel." Marzel wrote in response: "It is amazing to see how Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who organized with me the beast parades and the protests against the abomination parades, found himself supporting and strengthening Amir Ohana." He added that "add to that his agreement to cooperate with Ra'am and the Islamic Movement and you get a clear picture of the way Ben Gvir has strayed from the path," and concluded: "The question is only where else this path will take him." The article notes that Marzel is a veteran right-wing activist, formerly close to Rabbi Meir Kahane and a central activist in the "Kach" movement, which was outlawed and declared a terrorist organization after the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre in 1994.
