Barak Seri's Ridiculous Response to Losing the Lawsuit Against Gideon Sa'ar

Attorney Ben Karpel, who represented Sa'ar, said the court explicitly determined that the statements were false and that Seri failed to prove them. In his response, Seri emphasized that Sa'ar sued for 75,000 shekels but was awarded only 18,000, and that the judge defined the amount as the 'lower threshold'. He also noted that no legal costs were awarded in Sa'ar's favor and that the lawsuit by his wife, Geula Even-Sa'ar, was dismissed. Seri wrote that he conducted a trial on a matter of principle and that if he must pay to warn against wrongdoings by elected officials, he will pay with honor. Nevertheless, the ruling accepted Sa'ar's claim in full.
