The cache was discovered while security officials were still considering an alternative to detention for Dardik. Intelligence information led IDF and Shin Bet forces to another house of his in the outpost. When they arrived, it turned out the house was on private Palestinian land—and the alternative was rejected. According to a security source, police officers called to assist the forces found in the yard adjacent to the house a cache containing grenades, hundreds of bullets, and IDF weapons and ammunition. The findings were transferred for examination at bomb disposal laboratories. Earlier today, it was reported that the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court ruled that Dardik would be released unconditionally. The decision comes after a struggle he waged against the administrative order issued by Central Command Chief Avi Bluth, during which he went on a hunger strike.
