Avi Yishai Ben-Haim Reveals He Was Attacked: 'Why Warn Now? It Already Happened'
Journalist Avi Yishai Ben-Haim published footage of a physical assault he says he experienced during a left-wing protest near the President's Residence while working for Channel 13. He criticized the lack of condemnation from police, media, and politicians, claiming that violence against right-wing journalists does not receive attention.
Journalist and panelist Avi Yishai Ben-Haim published video footage this evening (Tuesday) showing, according to him, the moment of a physical assault he experienced during a left-wing protest near the President's Residence while working as a reporter for Channel 13. In a sharp post on X (Twitter), Ben-Haim attacked what he called silence from the police, media, politicians, and journalist organizations, which he said did not condemn the incident. He noted that the attack occurred during a live broadcast, and that the attacker, identified by him as affiliated with the left-wing camp, was not arrested. Ben-Haim added that this was his last appearance on Channel 13, and that the public atmosphere almost encouraged the attacker. He called for stopping the deterioration and fixing things 'in all directions.'
