Autumn holidays: European airlines return to Israel

Lufthansa Group is increasing flights to Israel starting in September, from 54 to 67 per week to Ben Gurion Airport. Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings are expanding flight frequencies ahead of the autumn holidays.

European aviation group Lufthansa Group has announced an expansion of its flight program to Israel ahead of the autumn holidays. Starting in September, the group's airlines will operate up to 67 weekly flights to and from Ben Gurion Airport, compared to 54 in August. This increase aims to meet high demand for travel abroad during the holiday period. Lufthansa will operate two daily flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Tel Aviv. SWISS is doubling its flights from Zurich to two per day. Austrian Airlines maintains two daily flights from Vienna, adding a third on peak days. Brussels Airlines is launching three weekly flights on the Brussels–Tel Aviv route. Eurowings will continue to operate four weekly flights to Germany: three to Düsseldorf and one to Hamburg. Earlier, it was reported that El Al is launching new flights to Japan.
