ATVs, motorcycle and dozens of cartons: the haul exposed in the raid in Tarabin

Two suspects, aged 21 and 54, residents of the area, were arrested and taken in for questioning. The operation is part of a series of police operations in the area in recent months.

Police raided the village of Tarabin in the south yesterday (Tuesday), as part of an operation by detectives from the Negev District Central Unit and fighters from the Southern National Guard of the Border Police. During the search, conducted under a search warrant, two ATVs and a motorcycle suspected of being stolen were seized, along with a trailer. In addition, a box containing 59 cartons of cigarettes, an amount of 25,770 shekels in cash, and two two-way radios were found. Two suspects, aged 21 and 54, residents of Tarabin, were arrested and taken for questioning at the Central Unit of the Negev District. The operation joins a series of police operations carried out in recent months in Tarabin, including a raid last month in which weapons and ammunition were seized, and another incident in July in which a local resident was arrested with a gun.
