The new distinction separates the government event itself from the participation of a minister who is a candidate in the elections, which may constitute a prohibited political platform. Ben Gvir harshly attacked: "There is no limit to the insanity of the fired attorney general. First she tried to fire me, then she tried to prevent me from establishing about 1,000 emergency response teams, and now, when there is a ceremony honoring those same emergency response teams we established, suddenly she changes the guidelines." Judge Noam Sohlberg is expected to rule this evening. The update to the guidelines was published five days before the event, after a first petition was filed against its holding.
