Jewish families accounted for 71% (37,646 couples). The average age of a Jewish groom was 27.3 years, and of a bride – 25.6 years. Civil cohabitation is growing in popularity among young people. Abroad, 8,235 marriages involving Israelis were registered.

According to the data, 53,025 couples formalized their relationships through authorized religious institutions, a 10% increase from the previous year. Jewish families accounted for approximately 71% (37,646 couples). The average age of a Jewish man at first marriage reached 27.3 years, matching the national average. In 2023, this figure was 27 years for Jewish men and 27.2 years on average. Jewish women entered first marriage at an average age of 25.6 years, while the overall average for all brides was 25.2 years (in 2023: 25.4 and 25 years, respectively). Additionally, 8,235 marriages were registered abroad, provided that at least one spouse had Israeli residency. Analysts note a steady increase in the number of young people preferring civil cohabitation without official registration.
