Arrest of gunmen who wounded three citizens in northern Gaza

Security forces arrested a number of gunmen on Saturday after they opened fire near the Ghazali intersection in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, wounding three citizens. The Ministry of Interior and National Security said in a press statement that the security forces stopped the vehicle carrying the gunmen after the shooting, and the detainees were referred to the competent authorities. The ministry added that the competent authorities opened an investigation into the incident to determine its circumstances and complete legal procedures against the detainees according to the law. The incident occurred in a densely populated residential area and comes in the context of the security forces' efforts to maintain internal security in Gaza.
