He stated that such a policy appears hypocritical and shameful. Separately, Araghchi accused Paris of supporting Israel amid the war in Gaza. In his view, France's position toward Israel and its simultaneous aggressive actions against Iran undermine the moral principles that France previously invoked in international politics. "This hypocrisy is obvious and shameful," the Iranian foreign minister said, characterizing the stance of French authorities. Araghchi also claims that support for Israel in Gaza and actions against Iran have allegedly caused serious damage to the international system based on generally accepted legal and moral norms.
