Arad Mayor Yair Maayan appealed this evening (Saturday) to the local police commander, demanding enforcement of the law against Haredi extremists following documentation of stone-throwing and spitting at girls. The incidents occurred in recent days, including on Wednesday near the Nardim area and during Shabbat. Maayan clarified that the city will remain secular and called on residents not to remain silent, to call the 100 hotline, document the incidents, and file official complaints. According to him, only arresting offenders will eradicate the phenomenon.
