Arab and Islamic countries condemn Israel's rejection of Gaza agreement

Eight Arab and Islamic countries (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, UAE, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan) issued a joint statement condemning Israel's rejection of the roadmap for Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza, holding it responsible for obstructing peace efforts, and calling for immediate implementation of the plan and support for the Peace Council.

Eight Arab and Islamic countries—Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, the UAE, Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan—issued a joint statement on Sunday condemning Israel's declared rejection of the roadmap to complete the implementation of US President Donald Trump's comprehensive plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip. These countries held Israel responsible for obstructing efforts to bring peace to Gaza and the Palestinian territories, considering its rejection a direct threat to the intensive efforts made by Trump to end the war and create the conditions for lasting peace. The eight countries affirmed the need for immediate implementation of the comprehensive plan, ensuring security and stability in the Gaza Strip, and called for supporting the efforts of the "Peace Council" to implement the roadmap and move to its second phase. They also called on the council to take immediate measures to preserve the Gaza plan and prevent its obstruction, stressing the need to continue political and diplomatic efforts to end the war and achieve stability in the sector. The statement indicated that the Israeli rejection is not limited to the roadmap but also includes rejection of the establishment of a Palestinian state, considering that the continuation of this position would undermine international efforts aimed at ending the conflict and establishing sustainable peace in the region.
