The IDF is launching a large-scale initiative to honor reserve soldiers and their families after three years of combat, repeated service rotations, and hundreds of reserve days. During the current summer break, the Manpower Directorate is organizing over 70 events for approximately 100,000 participants across the country. The events include music performances, plays, museum visits, water parks, and activities tailored for the religious community. Next week, major events will take place, including activities at the "Kasplash" water park in Ma'ale Adumim and performances of "The Jungle Book" in Tel Aviv and Kfar Blum. The highlight event is expected on Saturday night, August 29, at the MAX Amphitheater in Rishon LeZion, featuring a performance by Peer Tasi. The Chief Reserve Officer, Brig. Gen. Benny Ben Ari, said: "Behind every reserve serviceman or servicewoman is a whole family that copes together with the complex reality of the war. It is important for us to stop and say thank you to them and their families."
