Apple sharply cuts iPhone prices in Israel — which models got cheaper

Apple has instructed official importers in Israel to reduce prices on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max by $90 (about 270 shekels). The discount will take effect the day after the announcement. The price cut comes ahead of the expected launch of the iPhone 18 series and forecasts of a 40% increase in production costs.

Apple has instructed official importers in Israel — iDigital, KSP, Mahsanei Hashmal, and iStore — to immediately reduce prices on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max by $90, approximately 270 shekels. The discount will take effect the day after the publication. The decision surprised the market, as just two months ago Apple raised prices on MacBooks and iPads by 15–25% due to a global shortage of RAM components driven by demand from server centers for AI tasks. This industry crisis has been dubbed "Rammageddon." The price reduction comes weeks before the expected unveiling of the iPhone 18 series. According to TrendForce forecasts, rising component costs will increase production expenses for next-generation devices by about 40%. The iStore network clarified that the reduction will be around 350 shekels including VAT.
