The report by the J7 group, representing the largest Jewish communities in the world, published on July 29, 2026, states that antisemitism has become a 'new reality' in Western countries. According to the document, 2025 was the deadliest year for the Jewish diaspora in the last 30 years: 20 people died as a result of antisemitic attacks in Sydney, Manchester, Washington, and Boulder, Colorado. The total number of antisemitic incidents in the seven J7 countries (USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Argentina) increased by 136% compared to 2022, and the number of violent incidents by 97%. In total, over 23,000 incidents were documented. The report for the first time includes a section dedicated to Ireland, where 143 incidents were recorded in six months in a community of 2,200 people. The authors call on governments to move from reactive to proactive measures: funding security, tightening legislation, and controlling social media. It is noted that anti-Zionism was a key motive in a significant portion of incidents: 48% in the UK, 45% in the US, and 23% in Germany.
