Anthropic reportedly in talks to buy Israeli-founded AI startup at $6B valuation

Decart was founded in late 2023 by Dean Leitersdorf and Moshe Shalev, who met during military service in Unit 8200. The startup builds software to train large AI models efficiently across Nvidia, Amazon, and Google processors, cutting computing costs. Decart also develops generative AI for video simulation, with applications in e-commerce and gaming. The company has offices in Tel Aviv, New York, and San Francisco, employing 106 people, 89 in Israel. In May, Decart raised $300 million at a $4 billion valuation, led by Radical Ventures, with participation from Nvidia and others. Total funding exceeds $450 million. Anthropic did not respond to requests for comment, and Decart declined. Elon Musk dismissed a separate report that SpaceX was in talks to buy Decart.
