Another murder solved - Lahav 433 increases pressure on the Suwaed organization: "In the right direction to crush it"

Lahav 433 announced the solving of the murder of Ali Suwaed in Shfaram, who was shot on July 1 amid a conflict between crime organizations. A prosecutor's statement was filed against four suspects, including three brothers and a 17-year-old minor. The police link the murder to the conflict between the Suwaed and Khaldi organizations.

Investigators from the National Unit for Investigating Serious and International Crime in Lahav 433 announced that they have solved the murder of Ali Suwaed, who was shot to death on July 1 in Shfaram, against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict between the Suwaed and Khaldi crime organizations. During the investigation, four suspects were arrested: three brothers, residents of Shfaram, including a 17-year-old minor, and a resident of Nazareth. The other suspects are in their 20s. After more than 40 days of detention and a lengthy investigation, the police announced that an evidentiary basis had been established against the four. Today (Monday), a prosecutor's statement was filed against them ahead of the filing of indictments, and in parallel, an extension of their detention was requested to continue proceedings. The investigation was accompanied by the Haifa District Attorney's Office. Suwaed was murdered in the morning hours, while arriving at his work at a bus terminal in the city. The investigation was assigned to the Lahav 433 unit and was conducted in cooperation with the Northern District. The murder occurred against the backdrop of the conflict between the Suwaed and Khaldi crime organizations, which has claimed many victims in recent years in a series of shootings and assassinations. A senior police officer notes that the unit began dealing with the Suwaed organization about six months ago, and since then has managed to build evidentiary foundations and lead to two indictments, the first for the murder of Adi Suwaed.
